Fire Dancing

Based in Tacoma Washington and performing throughout the greater Puget Sound Region, The Wild Celtic Rose can perform a variety of dance styles with any combination of the graceful fire orb, levitation wand, spinning poi, sensual fans, powerful staff, tribal belllydance with palm torches and the exciting flaming hula hoop.

L Lisa Lawrence was trained from an early age in classical ballet, interpretive and contemporary dance, musical theater and other performance arts.

She has performed in film, live theater and festivals on the West Coast since the age of eight years old.

Fire Dancing has become her passion.

Whether she is spinning poi, bellydancing with palm torches, commanding the staff, gracefully manipulating the orb to hula or tribal inspired music, playing with the levi-wand, performing a sensual fan dance or rocking out with the flaming hula hoop, audiences gaze at her skill in awe as she manipulates the implements bringing the fire inches from her skin and fiery red hair.

When not performing, she is a triathlete, urban farmer, writer and nature photographer.

L. Lisa Lawrence, aka The Wild Celtic Rose, is an artist based on Tacoma's Hilltop working in fire, dance, theater, written/spoken word, mixed media, fiber and photography.

As an ordained minister and facilitator of earth based spirituality groups, she can also create and officiate unique wedding, commitment and handfasting ceremonies as well as other rites of passage.
